About Us

With over 20 years experience managing venues, events and catering throughout the private and corporate world, our founder, Dave Nelson, wanted to combine his passion for delicious, artisanal produce with creative flair for catering and hospitality. The emerging food-trend of Grazing provided the opportunity to launch and so Truffle & Thyme was born in 2020.

What do we do?

We’re all about providing our customers and clients with delicious food, be it neatly boxed up in a gift hamper, or with a team of chefs at a fully catered wedding or event. We prepare everything in our catering unit in Sherston, near Tetbury and Malmesbury at the bottom of The Cotswolds, and you’ll find us regularly catering across Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and Somerset or shipping.

Our luxury fine-food hampers have also become a firm favourite of our customers for foodie gifting. Christmas is obviously when our hampers really take centre stage, but we have a carefully curated range available all year round, all filled with delicious artisanal produce, that provides the ooohs, ahhhhs and mmmms, once the lucky recipient opens them up. We ship these nationally via courier.

Dave, our Founder, has been managing weddings and events since 2003, gaining a wealth of experience during that time. So, if you’re thinking of holding a wedding, party or event, be it corporate, at home or elsewhere, he’ll be sure to provide you with that ‘something special’, not just in the food department, but throughout the whole event experience.
